Eton College Universities Summer School
The Eton College Universities Summer School (ECUSS) provides Sixth Form boys and girls of high calibre from state schools in Britain with a teaching and tutorial programme designed to promote interest in university studies. During the course, a number of leading academics and educationalists visit Eton to provide talks alongside question and answer sessions, and students are also given interview practice and help on how to write a UCAS statement. These courses are very popular and attract a high number of applicants each year.
Xổ số muôn nămThis residential course at Eton is not about improving A Level grades, but is designed to help students with their university applications through an exciting and challenging period of study. Applicants choose a subject and we provide dynamic teaching and, more importantly, the company of like-minded students from all over the country to work and socialise with.
In 2019, over 44% of ECUSS students received offers from Oxford or Cambridge, and 95% received offers from Russell Group or equivalent universities.Ian Harris, Director, ECUSS
Students enjoy a packed timetable with lessons, study time, sporting and cultural opportunities. Visiting university lecturers teach and discuss entry procedures. Our aim is to help students make a persuasive application to the universities of their choice, with many going on to Oxford or Cambridge and other Russell Group universities.
Xổ số muôn nămECUSS is open to all students regardless of means. The College subsidises the cost of the course and offers a significant number of free places for successful applicants who require financial aid.
Xổ số muôn nămWe would encourage applications from ambitious young people to attend ECUSS, whatever their financial circumstances.

A significant number of free places are available for students who attend UK state schools. The courses are based at Eton College’s Rowing Centre and venue of the 2012 Olympics, Dorney Lake, and students will be able to experience rowing up the River Thames to visit Eton’s own island, Queen’s Eyot.
English Language and Cultural Courses
These courses provide foreign students with an insight into the British way of life and heritage, combining English tuition with a range of extracurricular activities and cultural visits.
Xổ số muôn nămAs well as experiencing Eton College’s cultural treasures, students visit other places of cultural and educational interest, including London Museums, Windsor Castle, Oxford University, Cambridge University, Syon House and Hampton Court Palace. These excursions are used as a basis for the teaching programme.
The English Language and Cultural Course for Japanese offers 320 places for Japanese students, while the English Language and Cultural Course for Chinese offers places for 160 Chinese students.
